What is the Nissan Patrol?
The Patrol is a rugged 4×4 SUV, similar to the Toyota FJ or Jeep Wrangler that has been produced by Nissan for over 60 years. The Nissan Patrol is a lesser known vehicle in North America, particularly in the United States and Canada, because Nissan has made the Patrol primarily for international markets. The key areas the Patrol is available include Australia, Central and South America, South Africa, Southeast Asia, Western Europe, Iran and the Middle East.
Only a more luxurious version of the Nissan Patrol is available in America as the Infinity QX56. This is a recent development happening for model year 2011 when the QX line switched from the Nissan Armada platform.
